Bridging the Gap Scholarship
The Bridging the Gap Scholarship, established in 2018, is for Montana residents with a 2.5 or higher overall GPA. Preference is given to students who do not have a Pell Grant eligible Estimated Family Contribution (EFC) – many of whom must rely on loans if they hope to access higher education. Recipients must enroll in and successfully complete a minimum of nine credits per semester. Undergraduates of any level – freshman, sophomore, junior, or senior – are eligible. Students who continue to meet the qualifying criteria and show progress toward their degree can renew their scholarship for up to four years or until they earn their bachelor’s degree, whichever comes first.
