Welcome to the Montana State University Billings scholarship portal!

All degree-seeking MSU Billings students are encouraged to apply for scholarships.

• To access the General Application, click the yellow “Sign In” button (upper right) and log in with your MSU Billings NetID and password.
• After you have completed your General Application, the system will automatically match you to all scholarships you are eligible for based on the information you provided.
• The system may request that you supply additional information or recommend scholarship opportunities for which you may be eligible, however, additional steps must be taken to be considered for those awards.
• Some scholarships require the applicant to demonstrate financial need; in order to qualify for need-based scholarships you will need to complete the FAFSA for the upcoming academic year.
• If you are awarded a scholarship you will receive an award notification to your primary email address. If you do not list an email address on your admission application or in your MyInfo account, we cannot guarantee your application will be matched with scholarship awards.

Important Dates:

• December 1 — Montana State University Billings General Application opens.


• February 1 — Priority date for most MSU Billings scholarships. Please refer to individual scholarships for the appropriate deadline.


• December 31st — Expected open date for 2025/2026 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).


• February 1 — The Montana priority filing date for 2025/2026 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) priority date.


• September 30 — Montana State University Billings General Application closes.
