AAUW Billings

Trustees of the Billings Branch AAUW Scholarship Endowment Trust Fund established the AAUW Billings Scholarship Endowment at Montana State University Billings on April 6, 2017. This endowed scholarship promotes AAUW’s mission to advance equity for women through advocacy, education, philanthropy and research and provides a lasting legacy for AAUW Billings. The American Association of University Women (AAUW) is the nation’s leading voice promoting equity and education for women and girls. Since its founding in 1881, AAUW’s members have examined and taken positions on the fundamental issues of the day – educational, social, economic, and political. AAUW Billings, founded in 1924, counts 60 members in its ranks. Over the years, AAUW Billings has awarded scholarships to a woman student attending MSU Billings and Rocky Mountain College from the fully funded endowment.

The first scholarship funded from the endowment now housed within the MSU Billings Foundation will be awarded in academic year 2019-2020.
