Bogunovich Family Education Endowed Scholarship
The Bogunovich family has always valued education as an important milestone to achieving success. Ella Bogunovich was a teacher for over fifty years having taught grade school in several schools in eastern Montana. Ella received her Master’s of Education (M.Ed) from Eastern Montana College (now Montana State University Billings). Ella believed that every child had a unique gift to share with the world. Dr. Jessica Bogunovich has been in the education field for 18 years, obtaining her undergraduate degree in Education and Teaching Mathematics from MSU Billings, her MAEd from Chapman University, and her EdD from the University of Phoenix. Jessica is currently a professor for several universities, including the University of Phoenix, SNHU, Walden University, Ashford University, and Concordia Christian University. Jessica, as a teacher in the classroom, enjoyed teaching math and science, with an emphasis on teaching English language learners. She was named a Regional Master Teacher Leader for Math and Science through the University of California Irvine. Nicole Bogunovich has been teaching for 10 years in the Billings Public Schools. She earned her Bachelors in Business-Finance from MSU Billings and a second Bachelors in Computer Applications and Business Education from the University of Montana-Western. She later went on to receive her Master’s in Education from MSU Billings. Nicole is currently teaching numerous dual enrollment courses at Billings West High School in partnership with MSU Billings. She has won Montana Young Business Teacher of the year and nominated for numerous other education awards. Sue Bogunovich received her undergraduate degree from MSU Billings (Eastern Montana College) and her MBA degree from the University of Montana. Sue recently retired from a successful career in the technology field. Being that education is such an important emphasis in the Bogunovich family, Sue established the Bogunovich Family Education Scholarship Endowment at MSU Billings in 2017 to support students aiming to become educators, specifically those who focus on math and science (i.e. STEM/STEAM).
