David and Carolyn Johnson

Carolyn loved life and lived it to the fullest. Each moment, each person to cross her path, was a gift from God. She was a friend to everyone she met. Her husband, David, was the love of her life, rock and best buddy. David was an avid outdoorsman, who enjoyed fishing, hunting and scuba diving. He enjoyed traveling and was also a collector of Lewis and Clark and American Indian artwork. Carolyn passed away in 1999 at age 57 after a courageous battle with cancer; David passed away in 2017 at the age of 80. Their planned gift and generosity assure that generations of learners will have access to education in perpetuity. The first scholarship was available in academic year 2018-2019.
