The ELEPHAS Civic Leadership Award is made possible by ELEPHAS Real Estate Group founder Neil Beyer. Beyer donated 10 percent of his commission on every real estate transaction to the MSU Billings Foundation to finance scholarships. As a real estate professional in Billings, he feels strongly about investing in and supporting the city’s growth and development.

Having worked in education for over a decade, including four years at MSU Billings, Beyer is passionate about education’s importance and believes it should be accessible to all. Beyer is also a strong advocate of community engagement to positively impact the community and the lives of others while simultaneously providing learning lessons and developmental growth to the individuals engaged in those initiatives. As a former university student, Beyer is intimately aware of the financial strain higher education can place on students and feels fortunate that he is able to help alleviate some of that burden.
