Kenneth and Judith Miller Endowed Scholarship

Kenneth and Judith Miller Endowed Scholarship

Dr. Ken Miller doesn’t take teaching lightly. After having been involved in the teaching world for over 30 years, his primary focus has not changed from that of day one: “It is my responsibility to not only maintain an atmosphere in which learning is possible, but to create a classroom in which students can direct their own learning process.” After 15 years of teaching in the public school sector, Ken decided it was time for him to become the teacher of future teachers and came to Montana State University Billings where he is a faculty and administrator. Ken’s wife, Judy, is an oncology research nurse at the Billings Clinic. Both Ken and Judy were raised in Sturgis, South Dakota. In 2009, they established the Kenneth & Judith Miller Scholarship Endowment at Montana State University Billings to provide financial assistance to students majoring in healthcare or education. Because of Ken and Judy’s strong belief in higher education and their spirit of philanthropy, students attending Montana State University Billings will benefit from their generosity for years to come. The first scholarship was awarded in academic year 2018-2019.
