Langlas and Associates, Inc. Carpentry Scholarships
Langlas and Associates, Inc. was established in 1973. With offices in Billings and Bozeman, Montana, they have performed work throughout Montana, Wyoming, Idaho, North Dakota, Iowa, and California. Langlas and Associates, Inc. has over 39 years of experience as a General Contractor and Construction Manager. They believe competitive costs, aggressive schedules, and quality craftsmanship are the qualities that will make a project successful and ultimately a satisfied customer. Langlas and Associates, Inc. approach all projects with the main goal of achieving a pleasant experience for the client. They believe the client always comes first. Honesty, integrity, pride in their work, and putting the needs of the project owners first are the core values on which they have built their business. As a result of these principles and their reputation of putting them into action, approximately 80 percent of their work is secured on a negotiated basis for repeat customers and referrals. In 2006, Langlas and Associates, Inc. partnered with MSU Billings to support student scholarships. Through their generosity, students enrolled in the construction carpentry program at the City College at MSU Billings receive much needed financial assistance. The first scholarships were awarded in academic year 2006-2007.
Impact
“I am writing this letter as a thank you for the Langlas & Associates, Inc. financial scholarship I was chosen to receive. I am enrolled in the construction program at the City College and am very thankful to be selected for this scholarship. It means a lot to me, as well as my family. I know the value of a good education and how important it is for a successful future. I chose to enter the construction program in Billings because my father has been in the construction field and received his draftsman education from the Vo-Tech in Billings years ago. I have been around him when he’s worked and have been interest in the field. Again, thank you so very much for the scholarship. I really appreciate your generosity.” — Hunter L., Construction Carpentry major
