Lynn Eggebrecht

Lynn Eggebrecht, a graduate from MSU Billings, was an admired and respected business leader. She was also a member of the Zonta Club of Billings from 1998 until her passing in 2020. Zonta is an international organization that works to build a better world for women and girls through service and advocacy. Lynn served in several leadership positions in Zonta. Throughout her academic years she overcame obstacles that, rather than being barriers, provided her motivation to succeed. Lynn’s determination led her to a successful career in financial services, and she finished her career as a branch Administrative Manage with Wells Fargo Investments. She invested in the community by giving her time to projects that improved the lives of women and girls. Lynn believed in the transformational power of education and would encourage others to complete this goal. Lynn brought her determination, leadership, and compassion to all that she did for our community.

In honor of Lynn’s commitment to making the best of one’s life, we offer the annual Lynn Eggebrecht-Zonta Club of Billings Determination Endowed Scholarship. This is awarded to a TRIO/Student Support Services student who, in thought, word, and deed, embodies the ideals that guided Lynn’s dedication to her career and her service to our community.

If Lynn were with us today, she would say dig deep, work hard, and believe in yourself. “Today is a good day to have a good day”.
