Mary Muth

The John Weinschrott Memorial Endowed Scholarship was established in 1983 by Mrs. Mary Muth, in memory of her father. Mr. Weinschrott had a strong commitment to higher education and, as a legislator, was instrumental in establishing Eastern Montana Norman School (now MSU Billings). Mrs. Muth received her Education Diploma in 1932 from Eastern Montana College and her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education in 1938. In 1991, Mrs. Muth was the recipient of the Alumni Merit Medallion Award and the Distinguished Alumni Award.
