Montana Collision Repair Association Endowed Scholarship
The Montana Collision Repair Association is a non-profit corporation that was started in the early 1990s. It is comprised of auto body collision repair facilities, paint and product suppliers, and parts suppliers. The main goal of the association is to provide management and technical training to enhance the professional ability of each individual and improve the quality of the collision repair industry in the State of Montana. In 2012, Montana Collision Repair Association established a scholarship at MSU Billings to provide financial assistance to students enrolled in the auto collision repair program at the City College at MSU Billings. The first scholarships were awarded in academic year 2012-2013.
Impact
“It is a great honor to receive the Montana Collision Repair Specialists Scholarship. Receiving this scholarship allows me to work towards earning a degree and worrying less about possible student debt… After graduating from the program, my plans are to stay in Billings and work at a local body shop. Thank you again for your generous support.” — Tanner S., Auto Collision Repair & Refinishing major
