Royal and Norma Johnson Charitable Foundation Endowed Scholarship

Royal and Norma Johnson Charitable Foundation Endowed Scholarship

Royal and Norma Johnson established the Royal and Norma Johnson Charitable Foundation Endowed Scholarship in December 2001 to provide financial assistance to education majors at MSU Billings. Norma and Royal began their married life in 1950 in Billings. They moved to Royal’s hometown of Butte for seven years and returned to Billings for the remainder of their lives. The Johnson’s were very active in the Billings community and supported the good work of others by regularly contributing to charities. Norma passed away in 2008 at the age of 80. She will be greatly missed by all she touched. The first scholarship was awarded in academic year 2005-2006.
