Western Security Bank Endowed Scholarship
Originally established as the Rocky Mountain Bank Endowed Scholarship in 2005 during MSU Billings’ People, Pride and Promise Campaign, the scholarship is now the Western Security Bank Endowed Scholarship. Through this longstanding commitment, Western Security Bank continues to support MSU Billings students and help make higher education more accessible to students in our community.
The first scholarship was awarded during the 2006–2007 academic year. Today, Western Security Bank is proud to carry forward this legacy of investing in students and their educational goals. Through this commitment, we hope to help students overcome financial barriers, complete their degrees and build a strong future for themselves and our community.
Impact
The cost of earning a degree extends beyond tuition. For students balancing school with work, family and everyday living expenses, financial support can make the difference between simply managing and being able to continue their education with confidence.
One scholarship recipient shared how the support helped make that balance possible:
“I am very fortunate to have the GI Bill to count on, but living expenses can be overwhelming with three kids. So far, I have been able to juggle school and a part-time job during the day. This scholarship helps me continue to successfully balance my life.”
