Yellowstone County Lodging Association

The purpose of the Yellowstone County Lodging Association was to serve the lodging industry through education, public relations, communications, and by protecting and promoting the lodging industry at the state and local levels.

In 2021, the association dissolved and its members voted to donate the remaining funds to the MSU Billings Foundation to create a scholarship in memory of Brian Arneson. Arneson was the General manager for the Best Western Kelly Inn & Suites and served as a board member of the Tourism Business Improvement District before losing his life to COVID-19 in November 2020.

The intent of the award is to help students who will become future leaders in hospitality and other business ventures.
