BHW Group Women in STEM Academic Scholarship

The BHW Group is excited to announce our Women in STEM academic scholarship. Women who are pursuing an undergraduate or master’s degree and are majoring in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics during the 2020 school year. Applications are due each April 15th and the winner will be announced on May 15th.

Write an essay on either of the following topics:

1. Tell us about your favorite app and what you like about it.
2. Tell us about a time an app played a significant role in improving your day.
3. Your essay should be between 500 and 800 words. Feel free to be as formal or informal as you like.

Can High School Seniors, who will be attending college next year, apply?
Yes!
Can Masters and Doctorate students apply?
Yes!
Can International students apply?
If you are attending a US-based school, yes. If your college is outside the US, you cannot apply at this time.
What do we mean by “app”?
We mean any mobile or web-based application. This includes things like Instagram, Snapchat, Google Maps, etc.
How is the award distributed?
Funds will be sent directly to the winner’s school.
