The Rocky Mountain Coal Mining Institute

The Rocky Mountain Coal Mining Institute is once again looking for applicants for our technical scholarships. These scholarships are $1,000 for one year and are awarded to students interested in mining as a career path. Students studying diesel mechanics, machining and manufacturing, electrical, etc. are encouraged to apply. The applicants need to be a resident of one of our eight member states Arizona, Colorado, Montana, New Mexico, North Dakota, Texas, Utah or Wyoming and looking to enter the mining profession. We are not limiting the applicants area of interest to coal mining alone, we want to promote all types of mining, showcasing the importance of the industry to the next generation of leaders.
